An
Electrical, or Control, Technologist, or Engineer, ideally with a
minimum of 3 to 5 years experience is required for the design,
programming and field commissioning of innovative radio
frequency-based SCADA systems, utilizing PLCs and RTUs. Reporting
to the Chief Engineer of SCADA Systems, this individual should have
experience in radio and wireless communications systems (both
licensed and unlicensed), radio path survey and analysis, and radio
configurations and testing. Experience with the programming of HMI
systems such as Rockwell, Citect, Wonderware, GE/Intellution, RTUs
such as SCADAPack, Moscad, and PLCs such as Allen Bradley, Modicon,
GE is a definite asset. A strong PC and networking background is
desirable, as is an aptitude for field problem solving.
A
degree or diploma in electrical and/or control engineering or
technology is required. The individual selected will be hard
working, self motivated, will possess good verbal and written skills
and must be able to work as a member of a project team.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and
the ability to assume increasing project workload responsibilities
are essential.
