Heart and Stroke Foundation.

was shining and the day was great!!!

Earthday
To celebrate
EARTH DAY, Dayton &
Knight Ltd. purchased 30 SPRUCE SEEDLINGS
that were distributed to staff to take home and plant.
We are also pleased to
announce that Dayton & Knight Ltd. is starting a
“GREEN COMMITTEE” to work on sustainability
initiatives for our workplace, home and environment. We will be looking
at sustainable solutions in the areas of energy use, waste, paper use,
water use, etc.

The 24th Annual Sun Run was held

2008 APEG E-Fest at the Vancouver Public Library

hosted a booth and handed out helium balloons to children, at the downtown Vancouver Public Library. The goal of the event is to
demonstrate to the public the role engineers play in society and to
inspire others considering this career path.

Pitch and Putt Fun Golf Tournament
The annual Dayton & Knight golf tournament was held
at the Ambleside Par 3 course in West Vancouver.
The participants were grouped into four teams:

Team Jenn: Jonathan, Yariv, Mike
3.
Team Ian: Tiffany, Michelle
4.
Team Victor: Sean R., Adrian
Prizes (donated by various
suppliers) were presented to everyone who participated.
