  • We are pleased to announce that Dena Vergamini, C.Tech. is the proud recipient of the Professional Leadership Award for Women in Technology at the 2007 ASTTBC Awards & Recognition Celebration that was held at the Pan Pacific Hotel on November 3rd.

  • We are pleased to announce that Stella Chiu, M.Eng, P.Eng., PE, LEED AP is the proud recipient of the Young Professional Award at the 2007 APEGBC Annual General Meeting that was held at Whistler on October 26th
  • This award is for outstanding contributions to the engineering profession and the community by a professional member under the age of 35.

  • Dayton & Knight Ltd. is the proud recipient of a 2007 Environmental Award presented by the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia for Outstanding Achievements in Environmental Engineering - Design, Construction, and Monitoring for Environmental aspects of the design of the City of Prince George Hart/Nechako Water Supply Improvements

October 2007

  • Dayton & Knight Ltd. has been selected as one of "BC's Top 40 Employers" for 2008.  Click Here for more information.


May 2007

  • Dayton & Knight Ltd. was nominated for hydraulic modeling excellence in the Geospatial Water Resource Management category by BE (Bentley Empowered) for our water supply optimization work for the District of West Vancouver.  The Watercad software was used to develop system improvement options to optimize usage of their Eagle Lake supply.

    The award ceremony was held at the Los Angeles Convention Centre with Dayton & Knight's engineer Gurjit Sangha in attendance.  A submission from Istanbul was the recipient of the award.  Dayton & Knight Ltd. was the only Canadian nomination for this year's award.

February 2007

  • Salmon Arm Water Pollution Control Centre Project

    winner of 2006 APEGBC (Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of BC ) Environmental Award is highlighted in a Special Information Supplement in the February 24th edition of the Vancouver Sun for "National Engineering & Geoscience Week"

  • Sean Brophy Appointed CEO and President of Dayton & Knight Ltd:

    Dayton & Knight Ltd. is pleased to announce that Sean Brophy, P.Eng. has been appointed by the Board of Directors as the Chief Executive Officer and President of the company.

    In this role, Mr. Brophy will continue to advance the company’s energies and vision in providing value added engineering services for our clients.

    Mr. Brophy succeeds Harlan Kelly, P.Eng. who held this position for the last 5 years. Mr. Kelly will remain as an officer of Dayton & Knight Ltd. as Vice President-Technology and will assist the other Board-appointed officers of Jack Lee, P.Eng., Vice President-Operations, and John Boyle, P.Eng., Vice President-Finances. This change is part of the company’s succession plan.
